Biography:
Dr. Lanlan Li obtained her Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Manitoba in 2021. She is interested in exploring language variation in different social groups. Her dissertation examines the English spoken by Filipinos in Winnipeg. She has taught Introduction to Chinese and Intermediate Chinese at the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg.

Teaching Areas:
Mandarin Chinese.

Sociolinguistics, language variation, language data analysis.
